 Print Profile
Snowmass Nova’s Taboo brings with him his father's sterling qualities and is the Snowmass breeding program’s complete package including consistency of fleece: 17.1 microns at his first shearing and %>30 was a mere 0.6; 19.5 microns at his second shearing with %>30 only 1.4; at his third shearing his micron was 22.1 and at his fourth shearing he was still an elite 23.8 (GRID sample - collected from several areas and averaged). Taboo stands strong and erect with the expected perfect bite and conformation, remarkable head and the signature Snowmass density and coverage – oh, and did we say just how jet-black he is – even as a five-year old. His genetics stem from three outstanding animals on the 1993 import roster and explain in large part how Snowmass Alpacas put together such a terrific package: Bueno, Angelique and Drambuie – names we all know and all from Alianza! Taboo’s cria have hit the ground and the cria are bearing out all of the potential that goes with the Snowmass program. Density and conformation are among the two most discernable characteristics that can be gauged at an early age and they exhibit it in spades. As for fineness, we could not be more pleased with the softness and handle and we are confident the legendary Snowmass breeding program will move our breeding program and yours to a much higher level. As for a show record, Taboo wasn’t one to sit on his First Place in the 2004 Futurity: 1st, 2005 AWE: Reserve Champion (fleece), 2005 AOBA Nationals: 3rd (fleece), 2005 PNAA 3rd, 2006 AOBA Nationals: 2nd (fleece).

Breeding Fee: $2000 Financing Available
